Always maximize your shooting angle. Midfielders and attackmen need to concentrate on taking an extra step or two towards the front of the goal to increase their shooting angle. Players will too often take low-percentage shots from the side of the cage. Unless you can hit your intended corner with 9 out of 10 shots, you should not shoot from that particular angle and should fight to position yourself a few steps further towards the front of the goal. Improving your shooting angle increases your chances of scoring.
